Useful Links

Here are some links to websites that parents and carers may find helpful for their children in support of their learning development:

You can look at the Secretary of State's school performance information here:

Back To School Magazine, a new digital magazine for parents of primary school children. It’s full of useful information such as helping with homework, SAT’s, phonics, numeracy and literacy. Sign up to receive it (at no cost) in your inbox at the start of every term.

Searching on the Internet

The internet is an amazing resource, full of fascinating facts, useful information and fun websites. Unfortunately there is also a LOT of really nasty stuff out there, which is either illegal, immoral or inaccurate (and sometimes all three!). When you are looking for information or entertainment online make sure that your parent/carer knows what you are doing, and if possible is with you at the time to make sure everything's OK.

If you're looking for information using a search engine, parents can often set preferences to help make sure that the sites you find are safe to look at and contain information that is actually true.
